43nd International ZEPTA water polo tournament 2011

General information

Hereby we would like to invite you to our 43nd International ZEPTA tournament, which will be held in the third weekend of August, the 20th and 21th of August, at the recreation complex te Ter Apel plaats., the Netherlands (nearby the German border).

Our tournament

Even though a lot of water polo clubs already know our tournament, we would like to take the opportunity to describe it shortly. Last year we had 160 competing gents,women and youth teams, which played more than 500 matches in 16 different pools. These teams varied in level (from regional to premier leagues).

Each level has its own pool. This makes our tournament very interesting for a lot of teams. Teams from the Dutch premier league use it as a preparation for the new season and a lot of other teams see our tournament as an annual pleasure trip. The games are played in the swimming pool as in the lake of the recreation area, called ´Moekesgat`. Last year we had teams from the Netherlands, Germany and Great Britain.

Evening program

On Friday there will be a party to start the tournament with and on Saturday, following the tradition, we organize a huge party in a large tent (next to the recreation area) with a live top-40 band.

Registration

Please register your teams by clicking “Registration” at the menu at the left of this screen. Please register before July 1st 2011.

Referees

We would highly appreciate, if you could bring a referee along as well, you can register your referee on the same registration form.

This year we have 2 options for camping. There are some differences in cost and regulation, see home regulations.
